John, this is exactly what we are after - having built a blackberry development strategy round MDS Studio to discover support being dropped in BES 5.0 it meant we had to have a rethink. We are keen to achieve a rich user experience which web dev for blackberry presently struggles with. We dont want to through away our Domino Web Service development and we are struggling with the java development since we are not true java developers. Look forward to reading parts 2 & 3.
